Register System

The VTT register system is a key element in ensuring precise alignment throughout the lamination process. It is based on highly accurate register pins, individually matched to each customer’s requirements in both diameter and height.

These pins ensure that printed sheets and the surface structures of the lamination plates are perfectly aligned. The register position is defined at the very beginning of the production process and is already incorporated during plate manufacturing. This allows every security feature and surface element to be positioned with maximum accuracy, ensuring a consistent and repeatable match between design and final product.

Depending on the application, the system can be used with register holes in the sheet for highly precise positioning, or along the sheet edges to enable fast and efficient loading during lamination.

For more advanced requirements, VTT offers customised register solutions as well as the VTT cassette system. These enable exact alignment between the front and back sides of a document, ensuring that textures and security features are perfectly positioned relative to each other.
